All about modelling
In study task 1 we were tasked to model a truck using a small toy as a reference, to get ourselves with the tool-sets involved with Maya.
Here is the first version of my truck just modelled, just to give you the idea of the simplicity that we were striving for as we were just introduced to the programme
Then I added some textures and lighting to make a more aesthetically pleasing image ... for me anyway.

I love modelling in maya! it gets easier to work out once you know the terminology and can troubleshoot your own problems.
